Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 1, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and utilizing the automation and systems engineering services of Layer7 Consulting, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
2. Scope of Services
Layer7 Consulting provides technical consulting, workflow automation, custom AI integrations, and infrastructure engineering services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline of any project will be outlined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or consulting agreement agreed upon by both parties before work commences.
3. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in a signed agreement, Layer7 Consulting retains the intellectual property rights to proprietary automation scripts, templates, and frameworks used during the engagement. The client receives a license to use integrated systems within their own business operations. Any proprietary business data or logic specific to the client remains the sole property of the client.
4. Service Limitations & Liability
Our automation systems rely on third-party APIs and platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, OpenAI, CRM providers). We are not liable for systems breaking due to unexpected third-party API changes, outages, or deprecations. While we engineer with high availability and fault tolerance in mind, our total liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service module in question.
5. Confidentiality
We prioritize absolute discretion. Any sensitive business data, workflows, or insider information disclosed to Layer7 Consulting over the course of an engagement will be handled with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties under any circumstances.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
